'Oya' - A natural heart-shaped pearl beauty in blackened silver! This wasn't a manufactured heart shape pearl, just a shape that Sheila Westera found which was then made into a heart shape style ring. How wonderful nature can be, all these treasures that are awaiting everywhere, if you look carefully. Her artistic eye wanted this Baroque pearl to be a cute black beauty and to sit sit among her collection of treasures for the Conversation pieces collection. By enhancing its heart silhouette by creating a organically shaped structure, that adds extra personality, to become an edgy yet chic interpretation of the traditionally romantic motif of a pearl ring. One-of-a-kind and representing her evolving artistic journey, where she transforms stones or pearls, often being overlooked by others into shapes and structures, that become part of her raw luxurious work. Each work with a different character or personality, and ring Oya, is distinctively sophisticated and interesting. Made by using her signature, self invented technique, which emphasises the statement itself of choosing a unique jewel, even more.
