Sheila Westera's unusual design comes with a slight rugged feeling, but she is overall glamorous with an arty feel that makes her super interesting. Of course this description would fit more of her work, firstly because of her special signature style and finish, due to her use of self invented techniques, secondly because of her taste in design, where she builds her own unique structures, and thirdly because she loves to combine colours out of a love for stones, where she often chooses either an more average stone -sometimes even a pebble from a beach- or by using rare finds, whatever she has in her mind. She has that special ability to be able to create uniqueness, which is a must to her, needing to find the right balance for every jewel, and each with their own personality. And often when she wants to add blackened silver, more of her special edginess becomes prominent, and she loves to refer to them as happy black rings! Her style is hugely recognisable because each jewel is made by her hands, adding the right kind of character, and that incredible and delightful raw finish. Agatha, comes with a savvy pink hued raw stone, which is combined with some lovely deep yellows, and this fabulous Cocktail ring, is one for colour-lovers, that love owning a jewel with extra attitude. Black, gold, pink and yellow, well if that isn't wonderful in itself already!
