"Basia" is a raw purple beauty, and a true one-of-a-kind! An amethyst ring that sits relatively high up on your hand, made to show off the purple gem and its unique design and yes, she is quite a statement! Sheila Westera creates stone jewellery for her Conversation Pieces collection, in where she is inspired by a stone, for which she creates unique personalities in jewellery. Her treasures are made through a very personal and organic process and the reason why she invented many techniques to express herself, which allows her to literally capture a stone in wire, while creating a structure around it in different styles. For ring Basia she came up with the Crucial technique, and she invented a few more techniques along the way that she uses each time, just always in a different way. Colourful and feisty, and a true one-of-a-kind statement, with amethyst crystals, which makes her a jewel to be perfect for special occasions. A ring which is not intended for the fain hearted, as she surely spark up some conversation.
