"Broken Pieces 3".. In a throw away society, where you replace things without thinking, Sheila wants to keep things or mend them. In the Japanse culture broken bowls or porcelain are being repaired with gold, and becoming a different design. This ring was made after Sheila felt the urge to mend a small broken pottery that she had almost her whole life, and this shard is from that milk jug, set into blackened silver.
