Washed

"Washed" .... A ring that embraces a simple piece of wood sculpted by nature. Sheila found it during one of her many walks in the Alps near her home. When she's completely absorbed in nature, she sees objects differently. This wooden piece, shaped by water and stones over time, spoke to her.

The piece demonstrates that beauty in jewelry doesn't always require precious stones. It emerged from just a moment, inspired by lyrical sentences remembered or by having read poetry, not long before.. or by how nature speaks to her as a whole. This ring captures that fleeting instant when the ordinary becomes extraordinary through an artist's eyes.
