Thenay
"Thenay"... a special jewel, and one of my personal favourites. She carries a slight bold butterfly presence — a stone set to one side, balanced by an intricate web of lines on her other side. There is simplicity in her, but also style, character, and a quiet sense of drama.
At her centre sits a deep matte black pebble I found near the glacier, close to where I live in the Swiss Alps. That matters to me. When I create for my Conversation Pieces collection, the stone is always my point of departure. I do not begin with a design idea that needs filling; I work from within my soul, and a stone will lead me to a creation. The value of a stone, in the traditional sense is not what moves me most — it is its finding a unique design, for each jewel that I create, combined with a feeling, a place or a memory it carries.
With ring Thenay, I chose a pebble rather than a gemstone, because sometimes a naturally shaped stone says far more. This one, pushed to the surface high in the Alps and softened by nature over time, spoke to me from the moment I picked it up. Its soft matte skin, its deep dark presence, a quiet strength. This modern classic: a true one-of-a-kind ring with her own personality, created to be worn as a statement, as a small work of art on the hand. For those who prefer the unusual over the expected.

The size shown is available. While I may be able to adjust sizes for certain designs, each modification is approached as thoughtfully as the original creation to maintain its artistic integrity. Please enquire about any possibilities or you could consider a personal assignment.
