Cat and Maus
"Cat and Maus" ... a brooch with a warning. Made of parchment, and set with a small glass murano mouse found years ago. The name is a quiet nod to Maus, Art Spiegelman's landmark graphic novel, in which Jewish families are drawn as mice and their oppressors as cats — a story of survival, memory, and what it means to carry your history with you. Sheila is non-religious but likes overall fairness and mostly respect for each-other, how else can we all live in one world together? Have we learned form the past? What did we all say in the west? "Never again?"
