No Promiss
Ring "No Promise".. is part of a series of seven rings, created for the Exhibition 'The Living Trace" in London. This particular ring explores the quiet weight of inherited objects and the found freedom when letting go, which I have explored in three rings as part of the first fase expressed in "Holding On" for this particular exhibition. This saucer ring comes with a pearl bracelet that I never wore. Gifted by family, it lay on a saucer for decades in my drawer. I never promised to wear her, but I did hold on to the memories for a long time. Now, she is ready for a new life.
