‘Modern Homage’...An exciting pearl necklace is born, as this is an homage to pearls!! Most pearl necklaces are classic.. and Sheila Westera liked them to be with a different vibe. Pearls are magical but how fantastic to break some boundaries or perceptions. Modern Homage pearl necklace is an ode to pearls, and she is a necklace like no other, being unusual, inventive, and there is only one of her. It proofs that pearls can be edgy, more cool and glamorous too. Sheila used an array of pearls in different shapes and nuances, set into playful podlike shapes, in different materials, like blackened silver, and rose and yellow gold. The Conversation Pieces Collection is exciting with many works that stand on their own and 'Modern Homage' most certainly does. Her signature jewels are graceful and cutting edge at the same time, and they are always balanced, which is a process that can take up months.
