"Franchi"... has a whiff of classic elegance. Sheila Westera found this natural carnelian stone in London, and she instantly had a vision what to create with it. It needed pearls, and it had to be set into her distinctive Possessions technique, invented by her. She never likes to draw her designs before she starts to create, she likes to feel it, and be in the right mood, and this is a large part of her signature style, by adding a personality to each jewel that she creates. Her jewels come alive after hours of shaping and forming a structure by hand, and she loves this organic process that comes with it. Her art, is truly driven by a passion. She imagined this carnelian to become something of a Victorian beauty, just in a different way. This one-of-a-kind and unique design feels like you know her, only there is just one of her. Her more unconventional colour combination of a deep orange combined with two bright pink pearls, give this jewel a certain tension, and depth. This colourful and energetic, beauteous cocktail ring, is a perfect conversation piece.
