White Rabbit
"White Rabbit" ... is a one-of-a-kind ring with a rabbit. Sheila, is always on the look-out for unique or special things next to stones and often the other elements are being used for her Arty Scenes series, which come with a much deeper meaning. Sometimes that meaning overlaps, when a jewel turns out to be cute as well. The series 'Keep Wondering' is made up of animals only, in a lovelier way. This handblown white glass rabbit, found by Sheila, some ear ago in Venice, attracted her, especially as Venice is know for long for their handblown glass industry, but it worried her that some trades are rapidly disappearing. There are a few remaining glassblowers that still create meticulous miniatures, and she thought that some had to be made into a jewel. This rabbit ring, is now a character from a fairytale: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and you probably remember: “Oh, dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!” After where Alice follows him down to the rabbit hole. Sheila likes the idea of having something fun on your hand or body, and it surely will have an impact too, meaning that it is a great additions to the Conversation Pieces Collection, created in two colours of metal, rose and yellow gold, a so called bi-colour combination. He will be the reason for a good smile. Oh, the stories that we can surround ourselves with!
