"Maud" ... Sheila Westera only creates the what she loves, and often there are links to a historical style, that she never copies, but traces of some styles can sometimes found in her work. Mostly because of her personal interest in Art and that what she learned during her University years, when studying Art History. For ring Maud she realised that her love for the Bauhaus and Art Deco periods could be clearly seen, which happens without planning. You know that she doesn't draw or uses sketches, as everything she does is part of her organic process. This sublime Cocktail ring is set with a vintage bead, in a coral colour. This is a ring of importance, and her wonderful coral colour, a pink ceramic bead that is set into her nest of intricate woven silver, with a slight and raw finish, due the self invented techniques and its finish that comes with it and that she loves, and it's the same for each of her Conversation Pieces jewels. The one-off treasures all come with their own vibe, or character. It looks like she always comes up with new ideas, because she truly works form within her soul. This catchy bold stunner is highly charming and a desirable and powerful statement ring and not your average Cocktail ring! Just wow!
